PROCESS

Picture
Our standard methodology involves gathering the required data, conducting organized interviews with key stakeholders, creating and validating a baseline flow or model of the current state, and then developing recommendations for process changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs within the current or revised structured. For example, we may analyze the effects of adjusting consolidation schedules to take advantage of a mode change from package to heavy freight.

We often examine ways to improve current flow models to improve automation, enhance visibility and communication, and reduce processing time. We may also analyze current transportation procedures in relation to demand and inventory requirements to offer solutions to increase speed to market, reduce costs, improve visibility, and minimize waste.  The goal in developing these solutions is for our project managers to work in close collaboration with our clients to help them get the most out of their supply chain.

The key to success is in defining the project objective, selecting an analytical approach, designed and following a structured process and timeline, and assembling the right group of people to provide the appropriate inputs
